Haji Ijlal, the main accused in the famous triple murder case of Meerut, got bail from the High Court on Tuesday. It was told that Haji Ijlal’s lawyer had filed an application in the court for several months. in which the hearing took place. On getting bail of Ijlal, an alert has been issued in Kotwali. On May 23, 2008, this triple murder took place in Guddi Bazar of Kotwali, which shook the area. At the place where this incident took place, blood was spread from the road to the platform. The blood was cleaned even before the police reached the spot and the bodies of the three youths were found at Gangnahar in Binauli, Baghpat. Seeing the dead bodies of the three youths, public anger spread. The echo of the case had reached Lucknow, the police had arrested the main accused Ijlal and sent him to jail. Even for several months, from Guddi market of Kotwali to the sensitive areas of the city, there was police alert. The bodies of the three youths were found in the Binoli Gang canal of Baghpat. Due to which there was public anger in Meerut and Baghpat. Since then the main accused Haji Ijlal who was lodged in jail.
On behalf of the victim’s family, testimony was being conducted continuously to get the accused punished. According to the order of the High Court, it was said to give bail to the prisoners lodged in jail for more than 12 years. On this basis, the advocate of the main accused Ijlal had filed a bail application in the High Court two months ago.
On Tuesday, the High Court granted bail to Ijlal. On getting information about getting bail, Ijlal’s family informed about it in Kotwali. Anil Dhaka, brother of the deceased Sunil Dhaka, says that since 2008, he has been continuously fighting in the court to get Ijlal and his family punished. He will appeal in the court.
