Mumbai: Shivaji Nagar Police has arrested two drug peddlers. Consignment of drugs in commercial condition has been recovered from both the drug peddlers. According to Inspector of Police (Crime) Jabbar Tamboli, the drugs seized from the arrested accused Rafiq Hanif Shah (29) and Safiullah Hanif Shah (24), who live in Mankhurd area, were worth around Rs five lakh.
Arjun Rajane, senior police inspector of Shivaji Nagar police station, said that on the night of January 25, assistant police inspector Dhananjay Devdikar, constables Praveen Shinde, Ghare, Khilare, Sutar and Kumbhar arrested two drug peddlers by laying a trap on the night of January 25.

Police recovered 14 kg of ganja
During the search, the police recovered 14 kg of ganja from them. During investigation, the police came to know that both are history-sheeter peddlers of Mankhurd area and supply ganja and other drugs on bikes. The police is probing from where they buy the drugs and who are the drug mafias in contact with them.
