Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber) Dr. Balsingh Rajput said that last year a complaint of cheating of more than Rs 4 crore was registered against the wholesale trader of dry fruits of Ghatkopar. Police Inspector Jagannath More, Prakash Warke, Assistant Police Inspector Srinivas Kamuni and Havaldar Rajesh Patil, under the guidance of Police Inspector SS Sahastrabuddhe, in-charge of Cyber ​​Crime Branch, started investigating the case, then the police found crores of rupees in Noida, adjacent to Delhi. The information about the fraud accused was received.

A police team raided a call center in Noida’s Bhagel Sthil Salarpur. Ravi Saroj Singh (27) was arrested from here. During his interrogation, it was revealed that he had cheated crores of rupees from the call center on the pretext of insurance policy maturity and providing jobs to the youth on OLX. Two of his accomplices, Anuj Kumar Shah (21) from Gautam Budh Nagar in Noida and Sandeep Kumar Lalta Prasad (28) from Ghaziabad were arrested.

Apart from Rs 20 lakh 50 thousand in cash, 12 mobiles and 3 laptops including email ID, Aadhaar card, income tax statement have been seized from them. Three accused in the case are still absconding. The police is searching for them.
