Mumbai: A major accident has happened in Worli, Mumbai. Here two people have died after the lift trolley fell from the 15-storey building. It is being told that he was doing the work of cleaning the glass windows here. Brihamumbai Municipal Corporation has given this information.
According to the information received, the accident happened while cleaning the glasses of Avighna Tower building located in Prem Nagar, Worli. The cleaners were in a hydraulic lift trolley on the 15th floor of the building, cleaning windows. Suddenly the lift malfunctioned and she fell to the ground. This incident happened around 4 pm.

A BMC official said that the rope of the lift suddenly broke and the lift fell down. He told that the incident happened around 4.30 pm. Following the incident, Mumbai Fire Brigade, Police and BMC ward staff reached the accident spot. The victims were immediately taken to the nearby Nair Hospital. Where doctors declared him dead.
He added that the Worli police is in the process of registering an FIR against the labor contractor and the site supervisor for alleged negligence.
