Mafia Mukhtar Ansari’s brother-in-law and MLA Abbas Ansari’s maternal uncle Sarjeel Raza alias Atif was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team from Ghazipur. This action was taken in the money laundering case. He was arrested by the ED team at 7.30 pm as soon as he was released from the district jail on Monday evening. Earlier, the team completed the paperwork at the jail gate itself for about one and a half hours. Late night the ED team reached Prayagraj with him.

After his release from jail at around 7 pm, the ED officers present outside arrested Sarjeel Raza after completing the paperwork. Along with this, left for Prayagraj with her. SP Ghazipur Rohan P Botre told that the ED had contacted. Tight security arrangements were made to take Sarjeel Raza to Prayagraj.
