A girl died after being hit by a tractor while loading stones at Deori mine in Mirzapur district on Wednesday morning. The tractor driver fled after the accident. The police have registered a case and are probing the matter. It is also discussed that the boulder was being loaded from the loader on the tractor, during which the boulder carelessly fell on the girl instead of the tractor.
Sugwanti Devi, resident of Devra village of Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh, wife Late. Ballu has come to work in the mine a week ago. His two children Govind and Chameli also came with him. On Wednesday morning, the loader was loading the stone of the mine onto the tractor-trolley. Chameli, the daughter of the labourer, was playing nearby.
During loading the stone fell on Chameli (8). Hearing the screams of the girl, the driver went ahead with the tractor and the injured girl came under the tractor. After the accident, the tractor driver ran away from the spot leaving the girl bleeding. After the accident, a crowd of people gathered there. On knowing about the incident, the tractor owner reached the spot.
