The Chief Minister said that many innovations have been made in the field of education with the recruitment of teachers. Smart classes are being made using technology in schools. Basic facilities are being provided in schools under Operation Kayakalp. Laboratories, libraries are being set up. Digital platform is being used. He said that the syllabus has also been vastly improved, the NCERT syllabus has been implemented on the lines of CBSE. So that the students of the state keep themselves mentally prepared for the All India level examinations at the time of school education itself.

The Chief Minister said that 25,20,634 children had appeared for the high school examination in 2022. The result of the examination was 88.18 percent. The result for boys was 85.25 percent and that of girls was 91.62 percent. Boys secured 28 percent and girls 72 percent in the merit. In the Intermediate exam, 22,37,578 had given the exam. The result was 85.33 percent. The result of students was 81.21 and that of girl students was 90.35 percent. In the state level merit of Intermediate, 53 percent were girls and 47 percent were boys.

45 students selected through Abhyudaya coaching

The Chief Minister said that the Abhyudaya Coaching Center run by the government has yielded better results. 45 students of Abhyudaya Coaching have been selected in the PCS recruitment conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that before 2017 there was a question mark on the purity and transparency of the Board of Secondary Education examination in the state. Some districts of the state had become the bases of copying and the trade of copying was done. Addressing the meritorious student award ceremony of Amar Ujala, the Chief Minister said that earlier, meritorious students were faced with the problem of identity outside the state, people believed that they would have passed by copying, so they did not give any importance to them. But the state government has changed this perception in five and a half years by radically improving the education system to the examination system, now the meritorious of the state is respected.

The Chief Minister said that before 2017 the condition of Secondary Education Council schools was very bad. Where there were buildings, there were no children, and somewhere there were children, there were no teachers. He said that where there were all three buildings, children and teachers, there was no atmosphere of learning. He said that it was assumed that when you have to pass by copying, why go to school?

But in 2017 the government decided that there should be fairness and transparency in the examination, he said. He said that in the last five and a half years, the government has not only stopped copying but has also recruited adequate number of teachers. 1.26 lakh teachers have been recruited in Basic Education alone. 40 thousand teachers have been recruited in secondary education. Retired teachers of Mathematics, Science and English have been re-inducted on honorarium. It has shown better results.

The Chief Minister said that before 2017 there was a big difference between the examination and the result. The High School and Intermediate examinations used to go on for two-and-a-half months and the results came in three months. After that it used to take two to three months for admission. The remaining three months are spent in festivals and festivals. He said that in 2017 when he prepared to complete the examination and admission process in two months. He said that where there is a will, there is a way, now the examination of the Board of Secondary Education is held in a month, results come in 15 days. After that the process of admission takes place in 15 days. The whole process is completed in two months.
