There is a track under the turbine machine. It is filled with oil (chemical). He heats up the machine. Smoke started rising in one of the turbine pipes in the afternoon. The employees informed Chief Engineer Narendra Kumar. Engineers came and started repairing the pipeline. Just then, the fire started blazing and reached the track.
The workers went down the stairs to the second and third floors. During this time the light of the mill went off. It was told that the employees were having lunch at the time of the accident. When the flames rose, they started running from there. Some employees told that if this fire had started an hour earlier or later, they too could have been trapped.
Wife, son and daughter unconscious
According to the police, the Chief Engineer is trapped in the fire, wife Lata Kushwaha had also reached as soon as it was known. After this she reached the hospital along with the family. Wife, son Utkarsh and daughter Unnati fainted on finding out about the death here. The engineer along with his family was living in the residence of the mill premises.
Major damage caused by fire, engineers called at night
GM Sheeshpal says that the fire is expected to cause major damage. Engineers have been called from outside to fix the machine. An engineer will come from Hyderabad on Sunday morning. The wire of the machine is burnt. How much the parts of the machine have been damaged. It will be known only after a complete investigation. The turbine machine was shut down during the fire.
Employees said – saved us, got trapped themselves
Employee Mukesh Rathi told that he too was on the third floor. As soon as the fire broke out, the engineer said to run away. As soon as we said this, we ran downstairs with our three companions Nitin, Rahul and Amit. We survived and Engineer Sahab got trapped in the fire. If he had not said so, perhaps we too would have been caught in the fire. Mukesh started crying after telling this to DM and SSP.
