A sub-inspector posted in the Meerut police line committed suicide by shooting himself. It was told that the inspector had executed the incident by shooting on the temple with his own pistol. The dead body of the inspector was found lying on the bed in the room.
As soon as the information was received, there was a stir in the police line. Police reached the spot and started investigation. However, the real reason for which the inspector has committed suicide has not been revealed. The matter is being investigated. On the other hand, SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan says that the inspector committed suicide due to family discord.

According to the police, Inspector Indrajit, posted in Kotwali Nagar of Saharanpur, committed suicide by shooting himself at his government residence located in Meerut Police Line due to family conflict. SP Traffic SP Dehat, SP City, CO Civil Line reached the spot. Inspector’s daughter (19) and son (14) years old. Daughter is doing graduation.
Told that the inspector had brought the daughter from Dehradun two days ago. The family had to attend a relative’s wedding. Inspector’s younger brother is in police and his posting is in Noida. Father is retired from the police department itself. The inspector had a dispute with his wife over something. Police is busy investigating all aspects.
