Theft revealed in the factory, two arrested

The Qutubsher police station disclosed the theft in the wood carving factory at Nakud Tirahe in Saharanpur. The police arrested two thieves, from whom the stolen goods were also recovered.

SP City Abhimanyu Manglik told that Parvinder Singh, a resident of Mohalla Sahabji Nagar, has a wood carving factory at Nakud Tirahe on Ambala Road. Recently, his factory was ransacked by thieves. A police team was deployed to nab the thieves.

Inspector Satish Kumar along with the police team arrested Azad alias Aijaz and Saddam resident of Megh Chappar police station Qutubsher from the area. The accused accepted the theft. One cylinder, three boxes of Asian wall putty, three boxes of ultratech cement, four drums of thinner, one can of paint, one plastic drum of 200 litres, 14 packets of sandpaper were recovered from the accused.

Accused gets life imprisonment after 11 years in murder case

After 11 years in the murder case of Dilnawaz alias Dillu of Muzaffarnagar city Kotwali area, the accused has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Shakti Singh, the presiding officer of Additional Sessions Judge Court No-7, pronounced the verdict.

On December 29, 2011, the plaintiff Salim, a resident of Mohalla Kassawan in the city Kotwali, had filed a case of murder of his nephew. Assistant Government Advocate Criminal Parvinder Singh said that Salim was returning with his nephew Dilnawaz alias Dillu and Nadeem, a resident of Mohalla Kassawan, at around seven in the evening. Meanwhile, five people surrounded him near Bharat Mata Chowk in Mohalla Thakurdwara. Dillu was hit with a stick and shot with a pistol. Salim and Nadeem somehow saved their lives by running away from the spot. The police had taken the injured to Meerut Medical, but Dilnawaz died on the way.

In this case, due to enmity, a case was registered against five accused, including Yahiya, a resident of Bagh Sanghar Das. Police filed the charge sheet. The hearing of the case was done by Shakti Singh, the presiding officer of the Additional Sessions Judge, Court Number-7. Four accused were acquitted for lack of evidence, while the accused Yahiya s/o Bhura, resident of Bagh Janki Das, was sentenced to life imprisonment under Section 302 and Rs 20,000 fine, and under Section 386, ten years’ imprisonment and Rs 10,000 fine.

Student murdered in broad daylight in Meerut

A student was stabbed to death near Somdutt Vihar in front of the Medical College in Meerut. It was told that there was a knife fight among the students for supremacy, in which the student lost his life.

It was told that the deceased student Karthik was a resident of Phaphunda village of Kharkhoda, who was a student of CCS University. SP City, CO Civil Line and station in-charge medical reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The police is busy investigating the matter.
