In Bijnor district, the dead body of youth Vishal alias Golu (22), a resident of Alawalpur village under Chandpur police station area, was found lying in a bloody condition in village Nazarpur. On receiving the dead body, there was uproar among the family members. The brother of the deceased has given a complaint to the police accusing two residents of Nazarpur village of killing him.

Hridesh Sharma, son of Karthik Sharma, a resident of Alawalpur village, told that at around 5 pm on Wednesday, two youths from village Nazarpur came to the house and started taking his brother Vishal alias Golu with them. When he asked the reason for taking away, the accused told that they were going for some work, they would come back in some time.

At the same time, Vishal did not return home till nine o’clock in the night. The phone was also coming off. When he went out to search, cousin Saurabh, who was coming from Nazarpur, told that the youths of village Nazarpur had killed Vishal. His dead body is lying in front of Chandan’s house in village Nazarpur.

Karthik, brother of the deceased, named three and accused four of murder. Police has sent the dead body to the district hospital for postmortem.

The state government honored Arjuna awardee wrestler Divya Kakran on Republic Day in Lucknow. Kakran said that the Chief Minister respects talent according to merit. Divya has been awarded a bronze medal in the Birmingham Commonwealth and a gold medal in the National Games of Gujarat. Divya’s father Suraj Pahalwan expressed happiness.
