In the case of MLA Nidhi, Mukhtar Ansari was produced from Banda Jail on Wednesday through video conferencing. Evidence has to be processed in the case. But no witness appeared in the court. ACJM MP and MLA Shweta Chowdhary fixed the matter for February 15.
The case is of Sarailkhansi police station area. According to the prosecution, an FIR was registered at Sarailkhansi police station on the complaint of the then in-charge Inspector Ram Singh in the case of embezzlement of the MLA’s fund. Mukhtar Ansari, Anand, Baijnath Yadav and Sanjay Sagar have been made accused in the case. After investigation, the police has sent the charge sheet to the court. Evidence proceedings are going on in this. On Wednesday, the cross-examination of Plaintiff Case Inspector Ramsingh was to take place. But he did not appear in the court. ACJM MP and MLA Shweta Chowdhary has fixed February 15 for evidence.
