Himanshu was at his home in Khas Ghosi town on Saturday evening. At the same time some boys arrived on the bike and took him with them to Muhammadpur Indara for a feast. When Himanshu did not reach home till late night, his aunt Pushpa Singh called him several times on his mobile. But his mobile was not received.
Distressed, he called a relative’s mobile and informed about this. According to family members, someone called from Himanshu’s mobile late in the night and told Pushpa Singh that Himanshu was beaten and injured by some people. His condition is serious, I am taking him to the district hospital, reached there. On information, the relatives reached the district hospital, but by then Himanshu had died.
The relatives took Himanshu’s dead body from the hospital and went to the ancestral residence Lairodonwar. Meanwhile, someone informed the police about the incident. Kopaganj Police Station President Amit Mishra, Circle Officer Ghosi Umashankar reached the spot along with excellent policemen. The dead body was sent for postmortem. After questioning the family members, the police took some people into custody on Saturday night itself.
