There was a lot of uproar at a chaat shop in Pipridih market of Sarailkhansi police station area in Mau late on Tuesday evening. There was an argument with the shopkeeper over the money from the customer who came here to eat chaat. After which the matter reached the fight. Both sides ran and beat each other. There was an atmosphere of chaos on the spot. On the other hand, the police reached the spot on the information, CO City pacified the matter with the police force. The police caught more than a dozen people from both the sides and brought them to the police station. Police force has been deployed at the incident site.

According to the information, Hiralal Prajapati, a resident of Khargepur village of Sarailkhansi police station area, has a chaat shop in Pipridih market. On Tuesday, some people from other communities came to eat chaat. After eating the chaat, there was an argument with the shopkeeper over the money. In no time, the matter increased so much that shopkeepers and customers came face to face and started attacking each other, after which an atmosphere of chaos was created. During this, people from both the sides beat each other on the road. The police reached the spot and caught a dozen people from both the sides and took them to the police station. Station in-charge Sunil Kumar Singh told that there was a chaat shop, people of both the communities clashed with each other over money from the customer, half a dozen people from both the sides suffered minor injuries. In this case, seven people from both the sides have been challaned under the section of breach of peace.
