Every day thousands of devotees are reaching Thakur Shribankebihari temple of Vrindavan to have darshan of their deity. In view of the crowd of devotees, the temple management has issued an advisory for the devotees visiting the temple on New Year. It has been said that a large number of devotees are expected to visit the temple from December 25 to January 5. In such a situation, children, elderly and sick should not come to see Thakur Banke Bihari.

According to the advisory, in the last days of December, from December 25 to January 5, there will be a huge crowd of devotees in the temple. In such a situation, the devotees should follow the route arrangement made by the temple management and administration. The temple administration has appealed not to bring children, elderly and sick people to the temple during this period. Bring shoes and slippers in your vehicles and at other places only. In the advisory, it has also been said to be careful of pocket-clippers in the temple of Banke Bihari.

Although there is always a crowd of devotees in Thakur Shribanke Bihari Temple, but on special days like Holi, Janmashtami, Diwali and New Year, there is no place to set foot here. Thousands of devotees reach Vrindavan even on weekends. Only a few days are left for the new year, in such a situation the temple management has given advice to the devotees in view of the crowd.

Appeal to follow the guideline

Temple manager Munish Sharma has appealed that people may face problems due to the crowd. So follow the guideline. If you see something suspicious or find an unclaimed item, inform the police immediately. A lost-found center has been set up by the temple administration at the Bankebihari police post.

It has also been said in the advisory

Follow the route arrangement according to the guidelines of devotees police and management.
Devotees should not reach with valuables during rush hour.
Come to the temple only by keeping shoes and accessories in the shoe sheds made by the temple management at the entry points.
After darshan in the temple, neither stop in the temple nor stop anywhere on the way.

huge crowd on monday

After the accident on Janmashtami at Thakur Shribankebihari temple, the temple has become a laboratory for the officials. New experiments were done, but instead of reducing the pressure of the crowd in the temple, it is increasing. While the common people are getting worried due to the experiments happening every day, the devotees coming for darshan are also facing a lot of problems.

On Monday, on the occasion of Ekadashi, a large number of devotees thronged to visit Shribankebihari. In front of this flood of faith, all the arrangements seemed inadequate. Even before the darshan opened at 8:45 am on Ekadashi, people were seen standing outside the temple with the desire to have darshan of Thakurji.

Gradually, the crowd outside the temple increased so much that seeing the pressure of the crowd, the security guards and police personnel of the temple swelled up. Private security guards were trying to evacuate people to the outside but the crowd was not coming out from inside, while devotees were continuously entering the temple from outside. Due to this the situation inside the temple worsened.
