The court will give its decision on December 14 on the application seeking a stay on the extension of the timings of Thakur Banke Bihari temple in Vrindavan. On Thursday, the Civil Judge Junior Division has given the same date for decision on the application filed by Sevayat Himanshu Goswami and others on November 30. Before this, the court has to hear the applications of advocate Deepak Sharma and advocate Girdhari Sharma on December 14 only. On the other hand, on Thursday, the same service was done in the temple of Thakur ji as before.
The Judge of Civil Judge Junior Division had extended the time of darshan of Thakur Banke Bihari Ji Maharaj. In this, Thakur ji’s darshan has been done for about 11 hours instead of 8 hours. This order was to be complied with from December 1. Temple manager Munish Sharma had also pasted a copy of the order regarding extension of Thakur ji’s darshan time in the temple from December 1 outside the temple a day before.

As per the order, Sevayat Goswamijans were to enter the temple at 6.15 am. After darshan at 7.30 in the morning, aarti was to be performed at 7.40. But this did not happen on Thursday. Sevayat performed Shringar Aarti at around 8.40 am. From Shringar Aarti to Thakur ji’s Shayan Bhog service was done as before. Advocate Girdhari Sharma said that the application given by him on November 30 was rejected by the court. On the other hand, the hearing on the application given in relation to the temple is to be held on December 14.
We will not disturb the traditional service
Thakur Shribanke Bihari Temple’s Shayan Bhog Seva Adhikari Sumit Goswami said that I was also present in the service of Shayan Bhog on Thursday. Thakur Shribanke Bihari ji is dear to us, we will continue his traditional service which is going on. No interruption to that service is acceptable. We will serve Thakur Banke Bihari Ji Maharaj in the same way.
