Mainpuri Bypoll: Voting percentage decreased in Mainpuri by-election, for whom loss, who will benefit

Voters of Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency did not fulfill their full responsibility towards voting in the by-election. This is the reason that the voting percentage fell in the by-election as compared to the general election. Compared to the 2019 election, this time the voting in the by-election was less by three percent. The voters of Mainpuri showed little enthusiasm for voting this time. This time the voters could not get the first class. In the by-election, only 54.37 percent voting took place in the district, whereas in the general election held in 2019, this percentage of voting was 57.37 percent. If we talk about the 2014 elections, at that time 60.46 percent voters had fulfilled their responsibility towards democracy by voting.

The reason behind the low voter turnout was the lack of interest by the voters in the by-elections. Despite the pleasant weather, voters came out less. Overall, lack of publicity was also seen in the by-elections. The administration also did not take any initiative to increase the voting percentage. As a result, the voting percentage fell upside down. It will be known on December 8 that who will gain and lose due to reduced voting.

The path of BJP leaders who are trying to feed lotus in the by-election on Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat may become even more difficult after voting. Actually increased voting percentage always proves beneficial for BJP, but this time the voting percentage has decreased instead of increasing. This may shock the BJP. Bicycle puncture has always been happening in Bhogaon assembly seat, an important part of the Lok Sabha constituency, but here also this time the polling percentage has come down to 51.20. It can be heavy for the BJP to go ahead even like this.
