Mumbai: The Shinde-Fadnavis government has removed the security of many important leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi in the state. However, the security of Milind Narvekar, who is said to be the right hand of former CM Uddhav Thackeray, has been increased. Apart from this, the security of former cabinet minister and NCP leader Jitendra Ahwad has been maintained. The Shinde government has dealt a big blow to the security of many important leaders of the opposition. This decision is likely to heat up the political atmosphere.
Narvekar earlier had X-class security. Now they have been given Y plus security. In recent times, there has been a lot of discussion about Narvekar’s growing closeness with CM Eknath Shinde. There are also speculations that Narvekar may switch sides. In such a situation, increasing their security is considered very important.

Be it a person of the opposition party or a common person, the responsibility of their security lies with the government. It is the responsibility of the government to give security to anyone or not. The government should ensure that no untoward incident takes place. If the government thinks that we do not need to provide security, then we have no problem. I think the security of Milind Narvekar would have been increased as per the report received by the government.
