Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the deprived and downtrodden people get new inspiration and light because of Baba Saheb. Whenever there is talk of liberty, equality, justice and fraternity in the world, Baba Saheb’s name is taken with pride and dignity. He acts as an inspiration in the fight for justice of the downtrodden and deprived people. Despite all the restrictions, even after obtaining higher education and doctorate degrees in prestigious universities of the country and the world, he dedicated his life to the upliftment of the downtrodden and deprived sections. He became the Justice Minister of independent India and gave a new direction to the country. The path shown by him in 1940-50 remains relevant even today. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the program organized on the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

CM said that it is a matter of pride that Baba Saheb was born in India. Many programs are going on in the country to express their gratitude towards the society and the nation. PM Modi developed Dr. Ambedkar’s Panch Teerths. Dr. Ambedkar’s birth place, Mhow (Madhya Pradesh), Delhi, where he extended his public life, a memorial has come up. The Indian government worked to convert the building in London where he earned higher education into a hostel and memorial for the children of the underprivileged and downtrodden. Special scholarship issued for this. The land of Nagpur where Babasaheb had taken initiation and where the last journey took place in Mumbai, a grand memorial was also done there.
Government’s sympathy is due to Dr. Ambedkar
The CM said that the schemes of the government were taken to the poor without any discrimination. PM and Chief Minister houses to 45 lakh poor, toilets to 2.61 crore poor under Swachh Bharat Yojana, free electricity connections to 1.63 crore families, free ration to 15 crore people in UP and 80 crore poor in the country during Corona period. This sensitivity is due to Dr. Ambedkar, the popular government will have to be sensitive. This work was being done when the whole world was destroyed due to Corona.

UP government is going to build grand cultural center of Dr. Ambedkar
The CM said that the UP government is going to build a grand cultural center and memorial of Dr. Ambedkar. Through which we will be helped in presenting his inspiration to the present and future generations. Our government got the picture of Dr. Ambedkar installed in all the government offices of the state. For many deprived sections including Thau, Musahar, Kol, Vantangia, the schemes of governance were far-fetched, but the BJP government at the Center and in the state is taking all the schemes to them. The state government is with every oppressed and exploited section. The CM said that Babasaheb, while handing over the constitution after independence, had declared that the basic spirit of the constitution lies in liberty, equality, justice and fraternity. We are all passionately committed to these values. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brijesh Pathak, Mayor Samyukta Bhatia, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Aseem Arun, Lalji Prasad Nirmal etc were present in the programme.
