Vikram alias Yogendra Sharma, the suspect caught in the conspiracy to murder Mahamandaleshwar Kailashanand, has been taken to Haridwar by the Naini police. The police took him to the ashram and interrogated him. Vikram came here on November 29 last and spent five hours and donated five hundred rupees for Goseva. Police is also gathering information about his relations in the ashram.

Vikram Kumar, a resident of Baghpat, had gone to meet Trikal Bhavanta of Pari Akhara in Naini on 23 December. During this, while talking about killing Kailashanand and other saints, he had talked about getting Trikal Bhavanta recognized as an arena. He was interrogated by the police and STF on the information about the conspiracy to kill Kailashanand and other saints. On Sunday, on the complaint of Trikal Bhavanta, the police registered a case against him.

On Monday, the police took custody remand for seven days by presenting him in the court. On Tuesday, the police took him to his house in Baghpat. On reaching his house on Wednesday, the team interrogated his family members along with recovering several fake documents from here. Late night the team reached Haridwar with him. On Thursday, the team interrogated him by taking him to Haridwar Ashram.

Kailashanand told that Vikram had come to his ashram on November 29 and spent five hours here. Whom did Vikram meet during this time, what did he come here to do, all these are being investigated. ACP Karchhana Ajit Singh Chauhan told that the team is taking him to Haridwar for questioning.
