Railways and Roadways gave final shape to the preparations for Makar Sankranti Snan festival on Friday. On the occasion of Sankranti, preparations have been made by the roadways to operate 2800 buses from different places throughout the day. On the other hand, the railway administration will run two special trains from Rambagh station. On the other hand, special trains will be run from Prayagraj Junction, Prayagraj Sangam station only after seeing the crowd as per the requirement. Meanwhile, District Magistrate Sanjay Kumar Khatri also reached the junction on Friday to take stock of the preparations of the railway.
Talking about roadways, buses will also be run from the temporary bus station on the lines of Kumbh Mela. A total of 2800 buses will be operated, out of which 200 buses will be reserved. Buses will also operate from Khushrobagh, Patthar Girija Ghar, Naini Lepreshi Mission Chauraha and Jhunsi near the railway station. Regional Manager of the Transport Corporation MK Trivedi said that all the preparations for the Magh Mela have been completed.
