Due to the fog, there is a delay in trains and flights. Dozens of trains and aircraft were also delayed on Friday, due to which the passengers had to face inconvenience.
The GoAir flight from Mumbai arrived late by an hour. At the same time, the Indigo flight coming from Jaipur to Lucknow reached 45 minutes late. Indigo flight number 6E-2427 coming from Delhi to Lucknow was delayed by 45 minutes, while Air India flight from Dubai to Lucknow could land 75 minutes late. Indigo flight 6E-2376 coming from Delhi to Lucknow was delayed by 1.25 hours.
Indigo flight 6E-7935 from Lucknow to Prayagraj was delayed by two hours and GoAir flight from Lucknow to Mumbai by one hour and flight from Amausi airport to Agra was delayed by 1.5 hours.
On the other hand, the passengers had to face inconvenience due to the lateness of the trains. The Rapti Ganga Express arrived late by 13.30 hours, causing much inconvenience to the passengers. When the Begumpura Express going from Jammu Tawi to Varanasi reached 6.30 hours late, the anger of the passengers erupted on social media sites.
Similarly, VIP train AC Express reached late by 4.30 hours, Chandigarh Lucknow Superfast was late by 5.30 hours, Ganga-Sutlej Express by 7.30 hours, Punjab Mail by four hours and Himgiri Express by eight hours.
