According to the FIR lodged by sub-inspector Dayashankar Dwivedi of Hazratganj police station, the police received information about the building collapse at 6:45 pm on Tuesday. Investigation revealed that the apartment collapsed after being overwhelmed.
A case has been registered against Nawazish, Tariq and Fahad Yazdani who got the construction done. According to the FIR, the buyers of flats were duped by deliberately getting shoddy construction done. Despite people raising objections, digging was done with drill machines in the parking lot in a dangerous manner.
There are many important facts in the FIR. The foundation of the entire building was weak. Pillars were against the norm. Some had also become crooked. Despite this, deep digging was done, due to which the accident happened. It was written in the FIR that the act of the accused caused loss of life and property. Fear spread among the people around. Those who protested were also beaten up. People are in panic, so the section of assault and consumption CLA was also imposed.
