Two fearless bike-riding miscreants looted 15 lakhs at Alambagh’s Mawaiya flyover on Tuesday by pointing a pistol at grocery businessman Neeraj Gupta. Gupta, a resident of Bangla Bazar, was going to Yahiyaganj with a bag full of money to pay a well-known brand of gutkha distributor at around 3 pm. It is clear from the way the incident was executed that the miscreants were doing Reiki of the businessman. However, the police is scanning the CCTV footage from Bangla Bazaar to the crime scene.

According to DCP East Hridesh Kumar, Neeraj Gupta lives with his family in Bangla Bazar. Shailendra has opened a grocery store in one part of the house. According to Neeraj, he left home at around 3 in the afternoon on a scooty to go to Yahiyaganj. 15 lakh rupees were taken in a bag.
