MUMBAI: Did we taste the action packed thriller with Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2)? Well, veteran director Farooq Kabir has given us yet another action film with the sequel to the thriller Khuda Hafiz: Chapter 2- Agni Pariksha. Tracing the tumultuous lives of Sameer (Vidyut Jammwal) and Nargis (Shiwalika Oberoi), the sequel undoubtedly delivers double the thrill and action. The film revolves around the two who fight the demons of their past but soon recover after adopting a girl. There comes a turning point in life when their daughter is kidnapped and murdered.
The film has started streaming on the OTT platform Zee5 and the thriller was receiving a lot of appreciation after theatrically released, it recently crossed 100 million+ viewing minutes on the platform. Actor Vidyut Jammwal shared a story on social media for the same and he is surely a proud man at the moment. The film showcased the director’s absolute talent in filming the action sequences without losing its authenticity and gave even more gripping moments after the first half of the film. Actor Vidyut Jammwal’s poignant character becomes the highlight of the film and his controlled delivery of action works aptly for the common character in the film.

When asked about the recent success of the film on the OTT platform, the actor said- “I am glad that so much love is being given to the film. Looks like our hard work has paid off. Farooq and I have put our whole lives in this film. And I am extremely happy that the audience is appreciating it more and more.” Director Farooq Kabir said, “I remember shooting when Vidyut and I had to shoot the action sequences on our own for the climax of the film in Egypt. It’s great to see that all the effort you put in becomes worth it. The film is getting a lot of love, I am very grateful to the audience”. With so much love for the two, the audience is looking forward to see them work together again!
