Painting contractor Premshankar Mahto (52), a resident of Mansarovar Park Colony, Lalkuan, Ghaziabad, was mercilessly beaten up by two policemen on January 5 for demanding money on loan. Premshankar Mahato died on Wednesday. Premshankar’s son Krishna alleges that his father died due to beating by policemen.
On January 5, when both the policemen beat up his father, he complained to the police station and post but no action was taken. When he returned after complaining, they hit him again. Due to this, the vein of his brain was torn. Which he came to know on 20 February.
Krishna told that his father had done painting work at Mansarovar Park a year ago at the house of policemen Prempal and Nitin, who live in the neighborhood.
