Babbu Ram Dwivedi, who is one of the leaders close to Keshari Nath, says that Panditji started legal practice in 1956 itself. He was then elected the Library Secretary of the Allahabad High Court Bar Association. After this, he also became the President of the Bar Association in 1987-88 and 1988-89. In 1989, he was made a senior advocate by the Allahabad High Court. In the year 92-93, he was also made a member of the committee appointed by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha to maintain cordial relations with the legislature, judiciary.
He had expertise in civil, constitutional and election law. Pandit ji did not accept defeat, or it would be appropriate to say that no such case comes in the judicial field through him, in which he had to face defeat due to his deficiency. Neither did he act against the law, nor did he suggest such a practice to anyone.
