According to the big news coming from Odisha, a big explosion took place in the competition of bursting crackers during the immersion of Lord Kartikeshwar in Baliya Bazar here on Wednesday. Due to which 30 people got scorched. Actually, a competition was held here to burst crackers. During this firework, a spark fell on a pile of firecrackers, causing a terrible explosion here.
On the incident, DM Amrit Rituraj of Kendrapara said that more than 30 people were injured in the fireworks explosions during the immersion procession last Wednesday at Ballia market of Sadar police station of Kendrapara. All these injured have been admitted to Kendrapara District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.

According to other media reports, a spark from the fireworks fell on a pile of firecrackers, causing an explosion and injuring people. Police said that many patients are currently admitted in the District Headquarters Hospital, while serious patients have been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.
