Kaushambi: District Probation Officer accused of molesting female colleague, government suspended A to Z Counsel

District Probation Officer Rajnath Ram, accused of molesting a female worker, was suspended. The government took this action on Thursday on the recommendation of the District Magistrate.
DPO Rajnath Ram molested a female employee of the One Stop Center operated under the Probation Office inside the office. Its video also went viral on social media. Apart from this, the DPO used to do obscene chats on the WhatsApp of the female employee.

After the video went viral, the woman had complained about the incident to DM Sujit Kumar on Tuesday. Along with constituting a five-member committee of officers to investigate the matter, DM Sujit Kumar had sent a letter to the government for departmental action against the accused DPO.

On the other hand, while registering a report on the complaint of the victim woman in the case, Sadar Kotwali police arrested the accused DPO and sent her to jail on Wednesday. DM told that on Thursday evening the Director, Women’s Welfare has suspended the accused officer Rajnath Ram.

Video of DPO molesting a female worker went viral

A video of obscene behavior with a female employee in the District Probation Office located at Vikas Bhawan went viral. After the video of the DPO’s action came to the fore, DM Sujit Kumar had ordered an inquiry by forming a two-member team under the chairmanship of ADM Judicial. Along with sending a letter to the government, departmental action has also been recommended against the accused officer.

In Kaushambi, not only women workers are safe in the office of the District Probation Officer, who is responsible for the protection of women’s rights. This is being confirmed by a video which is becoming increasingly viral in social media. It is clearly visible in the video that a female employee reaches in front of DPO Rajnath Ram sitting on his chair in the office with departmental papers.

After signing the letter, the District Probation Officer is giving bad touch to the female employee. Although the women workers are also seen opposing it. After the video surfaced, there has been panic among the administrative officers.
