Kashi Tamil Sangamam: Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the closing ceremony, preparations are being finalized

The month-long Kashi Tamil Sangamam, showcasing Kashi’s association with the traditions and culture of Tamil Nadu, is now nearing its end. Home Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony to be held on December 16. The Home Minister’s protocol has been received by the Varanasi administration and minute to minute program is being finalized.

The grand ceremony will also be attended by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy, Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi. In view of the arrival of the Home Minister, a meeting of ASL was held at Babatpur Airport from 11 am to 12 noon on Wednesday.

During this, joint preparations were finalized by the district administration and airport management. Along with this, security arrangements were discussed during the arrival of the Home Minister. Airport Director Aryama Sanyal, Senior Commandant Ajay Kumar, CRPF Commandant Kamlesh Singh, officers of various departments and security agencies were present in the meeting.

The guests will be felicitated with the closing ceremony on December 16 at 4 pm in the amphitheater ground of BHU. During the event of about two and a half hours, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address the public present there. The Home Minister can also visit the house of national poet Subramaniam Bharti at Hanuman Ghat. During this, they can also go to worship Baba Dham and Kalbhairav.

A complete action plan has been made for cultural programs in the closing ceremony. Apart from Banaras artists, Tamil artists will also participate in this. According to the Home Minister’s program received by the administration, he will reach Babatpur airport at 4 pm and from here he will come to BHU helipad by helicopter. After participating in the program here, he will leave for Delhi.
