MLA Abbas Ansari, lodged in Chitrakoot Jail in Uttar Pradesh, will be shifted to Kasganj Jail. Minister of State for Prisons and Home Guards (Independent Charge) Dharamveer Prajapati has issued this order. He has given strict instructions to implement the order on Tuesday itself. Also, asked to take strict action against the jail personnel involved in the incident. Reprimanding the jail superintendents, he said that such incidents will not be tolerated in future.
Said that if you get any kind of problem, pressure or threat, inform it to the headquarters immediately. Such things will not be taken into account after the incident. Also strict action will be taken. Positive and good deeds get affected by such incidents. He also instructed the jail superintendents to provide the list of top ten criminals lodged in jails to the headquarters by February 20. Also, asked to strengthen the surveillance system from CCTV.
How to further improve the monitoring system at the headquarters level. Instructions were given to DG Jail to take action on this. On the other hand, Minister of State for Prisons Suresh Rahi said that despite the technological development, this type of incident is surprising and unforgivable.
