In Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur, after the end of the day for the last two days, the cold is intensifying between 6 pm to 8 pm. According to the Meteorological Department, this is happening due to the sudden increase in the activity of icy winds. Meanwhile, from 3 am to 6 am on Monday, different areas received 8 mm of rain.
According to the Meteorological Department of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSA), the rainy season is likely to last till January 29 due to increase in air pressure in the Bay of Bengal. Earlier there was a forecast of up to 26. On the other hand, due to cloud cover, the minimum temperature increased by two notches to 9.4 degree Celsius.
The maximum temperature is settled at 21 degree Celsius. However, between 6 pm and 8 pm, it dropped by six degrees Celsius to around 15 degrees Celsius. And the wind speed was 3.2 kilometers per hour.
According to the CSA Meteorological Department, till January 29, there is a possibility of rain in many parts of Uttar Pradesh and North Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan including Punjab, Haryana and Kanpur division. Meanwhile, heavy rains may occur at some places in the Gangetic plains.
The air of the city cleared as soon as it rained
The air of the city has cleared after the rain in the middle of the cold weather. According to the daily report released by the Central Pollution Control Board, the city’s air quality index stood at 73.
From Kidwai Nagar to Kalyanpur in Kanpur, the air remained clear. The level of pollution reaching 400 in Nehru Nagar was recorded at 133 on Monday. Pollution Control Board officials say that the pollution level will remain low till the rains continue.
