Actor and self-claimed film critic Kamal Rashid Khan aka KRK on Thursday expressed his desire to join the political party by sharing a post on social media. After this, on Monday morning, he tweeted and asked RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to join the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

KRK shared a post on Thursday morning and wrote that he is now going to join the political party. He wrote, I am thinking of joining political party very soon, because to be safe in the country, it is necessary to be a leader, not an actor.

Why was KRK arrested?
KRK had made objectionable tweets on the late actors Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor in 2020, due to which he was arrested by the Mumbai Police from the airport as soon as he returned to India. Thereafter, he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. At the same time, a case of sexual abuse was also registered against KRK at Versova police station in 2021. After being kept in custody for 9 days, the court has granted bail to KRK after hearing in both the cases. However, he has been granted bail with certain conditions.

KRK is released on conditional bail
KRK’s lawyer told that he has been given conditional bail. Along with this, the accused has to appear in the concerned police station till the charge sheet is not filed. They have to register their attendance by 11 am on every second and fourth Monday of the month. KRK was lodged in Thane jail for 14 days judicial custody.
