The three-day jewelery show organized by the Bullion Traders Association at the Bypass Resort in Meerut enthralled every heart on the very first day itself. Today is the second day of the show. On the first day of the jewelery show here, everyone was mesmerized to see jewelery worth 40 crores under one roof. Everyone looked eager to see the gold plated democracy temple Parliament House, the statue of Sardar Patel made of two thousand diamonds and gold, the gold Hanuman Chalisa and the India Gate.

In the exhibition which started with the lighting of the lamp on Sunday, the General Secretary of Bullion Traders Association, Vijay Anand Aggarwal asked for 2400 square meter land of Municipal Corporation on New Road for Jewelery Park and Factory Flatted Complex. The General Secretary said that the cooperation of public representatives is important in declaring Meerut as a golden city. If a jewelery park is made, then the bullion traders will invest one thousand crores in it. Minister of State Dinesh Khatik said that Meerut should have been given the name of Golden City earlier itself. A demand will be made to the Chief Minister to include jewelers in the UP Investors Summit. Minister of State Somendra said that due to the good governance of the Yogi government, today the jewelers of the city are putting up an exhibition of jewelery worth crores of rupees on the bypass.

The Naam Dham booklet of Meerut Bullion Traders Association was released by the guests. Information about jewelery was taken by visiting a stall. Traders from Agra, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Bijnor, Hapur, Delhi, Rajasthan and Gujarat reached the exhibition.

Vipul Aggarwal, director of Dizzling Diamond, displayed the future of Meerut as a model of Metro, Rapid and Highway in the exhibition. They were decorated with gold ornaments. Dev Mudrika was also the center of attraction in the exhibition. Vipul Aggarwal told that 26,298 diamonds have been installed in this ring. The name of this ring has been sent to the Guinness Book of Records. So far there is a record of 24 thousand diamonds in the ring.

Jewelery ranging from one thousand to 11 lakh were displayed at a single stall in the exhibition. Director of Arihant Jewelers Ritesh Jain said that traditional jewelery from across the country has been displayed at the stall. Gold and diamond watches, utensils, pendants, ships remained the center of attraction. Ankur Jain said that now after silver coins, best wishes, happy birthday and greetings are being given as gifts in silver and gold. Light weight jewelery was also the center of attraction for the girls.

Meerut is liking platinum jewelery

The stalls of Swarna Ganga and Chain Ganga displayed 18 carat, 20 carat and 22 carat jewellery. Mukesh Rastogi said that Meerut’s chains and jewelry are most liked in North and East India including Kashmir. Along with gold and diamond, people are now preferring platinum jewellery. Jar bangles were the center of attraction.
