A case has been registered against 9 named and other unknown people, including the manager and father of St. Xavier’s School, Badlapur (Jaunpur), on the charge of promoting Christianity and luring them to convert. The police have arrested 16 people including Fr.

Pramod Kumar Sharma, national president of Hindu Gaurav Mahasabha and resident of Aunka village of Baksha police station area, informed the police that St. Xavier’s school manager Thomas Joseph and Father Dinesh Maurya, manager of St. Xavier’s school in village Muradpur Kotila, were promoting Christianity in the village’s Maurya Basti. He is making changes. Many people are present on the spot.

Taking this matter seriously, the police reached the spot and arrested eight people including the father, after raiding several places, arrested eight other people and challaned them on suspicion of breach of peace.
