Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that Divyangjan does not need sympathy, but encouragement and cooperation. The state government is working with determination to empower the disabled and bring them into the mainstream of society and development. Administration and departmental officers should ensure availability of essential equipment, resources and certificates for life on priority basis.
CM Yogi was meeting the people who had come for Janta Darshan at Gorakhnath temple on Wednesday morning. During the Janata Darshan organized at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Auditorium of the temple, he listened to the problems of about 300 people and assured them that every problem would be resolved in a quick, satisfactory and quality manner.
There should be no hindrance in issuing certificate to the mentally handicapped
In Janata Darshan, some Divyangjan had come to tell the need of tricycle and some mentally Divyang along with their relatives had come with a request to issue certificates. On hearing their problem, the Chief Minister directed that tricycles/motorized tricycles should be made available to those who need them on a speedy basis. Along with this, he issued instructions that there should not be any kind of hindrance in issuing certificates to the mentally handicapped.

Government will help for treatment
Some people had reached before the Chief Minister in Janta Darshan with a request for financial assistance for treatment. CM Yogi assured him that the government will provide full help for the treatment. The process of estimate related to treatment should be completed as soon as possible and made available in the government. Instructing the matters related to revenue and police to be disposed of with complete transparency and fairness, he said that injustice should not be done to anyone. If someone is forcibly occupying someone’s land, then he should be taught a lesson according to the law.

The Chief Minister said that every victim should be helped by adopting sensitive treatment. Their children had also come along with some people in the public darshan. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath caressed him, blessed him and inspired him to read a lot while gifting chocolates.
