Shri Ram’s procession came out from the Baradari of Lala Channomal located at Mankameshwar temple in Agra at 10 pm on Wednesday night. The baraatis were also getting wet along with the bandwagon. To protect the form of Shri Ram, Lakshmana, Bharat and Shatrughna from the rain, people stood on the chariots carrying umbrellas. By one o’clock late in the night, the procession reached the Kachari Ghat. Rain hampered the city’s grand event. The roads on which people used to wait all night to welcome Shri Ram, were seen empty after one o’clock.

The rain did not stop even on Thursday morning. Due to rain, the forms of Shri Ram, Lakshmana, Bharat and Shatrughna reached the people in cars instead of chariots. Here Alok Agarwal as King Janak and President of Shri Ramlila Mahotsav Committee, Purushottam Khandelwal performed the aarti of Shri Ram and his brothers.

Shriram procession Lala Channomal ki Baradari, Man: Starting from Kameshwar street, Rawatpada, Johri Bazar, Subhash Bazar, Lala Kokamal Marg, Chatta Bazar, Kachari Ghat, Belanganj, Pathwari, Dhuliaganj, City Station Road, poor chipped brick, Fulti Bazar, Sev Reached Rawatpada via Ka Bazar, Kinari Bazar, Kaserrat Bazar. After taking rest here, the procession started again from Rawatpada and reached Dalalbagh via Lord Talkies.

In Shrim procession, Lord Indra gave a lot of bath to the devotees of Rama in the rain of happiness. Indra’s grace continued to rain throughout the day. Wearing a jewel-studded crown, when Lord Shri Ram sat on the chariot, at that time also Indra expressed the happiness of Lord’s marriage with rain. In order to protect Raghunandan’s adornment from rain, the devotees of Ram kept giving the shade of umbrella to the Lord with them.
