Ahead of the upcoming season of IPL 2023, the mini auction is going to be held this year, which is scheduled on 16 December. And, before that, the team management of all 10 teams has to give the list of their retained players to the BCCI within the given deadline.

That is, all 10 teams have to select their players before Mini Nilamai, whom they want to keep in their team in the upcoming season IPL 2023. Notably, as per the rules, all franchises can retain a maximum of 15 players in their team. Meaning, at least 10 players have to be released. IPL teams will be able to keep maximum 25-25 players and minimum 18 players in the upcoming season.

As per the rules, an IPL team will have a maximum amount of Rs 95 crore to buy players in the auction. And, how much money will be left in the mini auction will depend on which players will be retained and released by the teams.
