Gautam Adani Meets Uddhav Thackeray: Industrialist Gautam Adani met former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday. An official said, “The meeting took place today.” The official, however, did not specify what issues were discussed between the Adani Group chairman and the Shiv Sena chief. Uddhav Thackeray stepped down as chief minister after senior Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde led a rebellion against him and disbanded the party’s 39 MLAs in June.
Eknath Shinde took over as CM on June 30. Both the rival camps of Shiv Sena are embroiled in a legal battle over rights over the party. Since the fall of the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra, the leaders of the Eknath Shinde faction and the Uddhav Thackeray faction are attacking each other every day.
Sometimes the issue arises that who will hold the Dussehra rally of Shiv Sena and sometimes whose Shiv Sena is it? Both the factions are calling themselves the successors of Balasaheb Thackeray. On Wednesday itself, CM Eknath Shinde targeted former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and said that we are taking forward the thoughts of Balasaheb Thackeray. At the same time, recently in Goregaon, Maharashtra, former CM Uddhav Thackeray said without naming Eknath Shinde that the people who brought him to power are showing colors today.
Gautam Adani is the second richest person
Businessman Gotham Adani is the second richest person in the world according to Forbes’ The Real Time Billionaires List. Forbes reported that Adani has assets worth $ 155.3 billion (about 12.39 crores). Prior to this, former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos was at number two.
