Not only this, if the loco pilot approaches the stop signal (red signal) under any circumstances and does not reduce the speed of the train, the brakes will be applied automatically after a certain distance. This device detects another train on the same track within a certain distance.
According to Cantt station director Gaurav Dixit, a tower will be installed at the station, which will be linked to the signal. This will keep the Kavach device attached. The device is already linked through a microprocessor, Global Positioning System (GPS) and radio communication. Therefore, correct and accurate signal information will continue to be available.
