Indian Coast Guard broker Mothe Yash;  Pakistani boat caught with liquor and 300 crores of drugs


New Delhi : Indian Coast Guard Dalala Eka Kariyat Mothe Yash Aale Aahe. A Pakistani boat with 10 people carrying 40 kg of acidic material worth Rs 300 crore with weapons, explosives and more has been apprehended off Gujarat coast this morning.

Based on intelligence inputs received from Gujarat, the Coast Guard has deployed a fast patrol vessel ‘ICGS Arinjay’ to patrol the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) area on the night of 25 and 26 December.

According to the information received from ICG, a Pakistani fishing boat named Al Soheli was found suspiciously moving in the Indian territorial waters. Even after the ICG removed them, the boat drivers deliberately ignored them. After this the ICG fired to signal them, but still the boat did not stop. After this the ICG jawans caught the boat and brought all the crew along with the Okha Bandawar.

This is the seventh joint operation by Gujarat ATS and ICG in the last 18 months. This is the first incident of large scale seizure of arms and explosives along with drugs.
