New Delhi: The last and decisive match of the three-match T20 series (IND vs NZ 3rd T20) between India and New Zealand got washed out due to rain. The result of which came out through DLS, where the match was a draw. However, India managed to win the series 1–0.

Batting first in this rain-affected match, New Zealand had set a target of 161 runs in front of India. After which Team India came out to bat. However, India’s start was not good and the team’s score became 75-4. Meanwhile rain came, after which the match was stopped.

According to the new ICC rules, the Duckworth-Lewis system applies when there are more than 5-5 overs. The same happened here and the match was declared a tie instead of being cancelled.

Let us tell you that the first match of the three-match T20 series was also canceled due to rain. After which India registered a resounding victory in the second match. In this match, India defeated New Zealand by 65 runs.

At the same time, rain intervened in the third match as well, due to which the match was tied, the match was decided by DLS. India won the series under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya.
