Incident in Holi: Six killed in road accidents, constable and youth injured A to Z Counsel

In Gorakhpur district, six people were killed and two including a constable were injured in separate road accidents on the day of Holi. The police admitted the injured to the hospital. On the other hand, an uncontrolled car hit several shops in Sahajanwan, due to which the car was damaged. In Chiluatal’s Dahla village too, an uncontrolled car hit a pole and injured animals.

According to information, Sudhir Verma (36), a resident of Rajghat’s Basantpur, died after being hit by a car coming from Lucknow on Railway Station Road in Cantt area. The police registered a case on the basis of the car number. On the other hand, Dilip Kumar, a resident of Baharampur of Tiwaripur, was injured on Wednesday after being hit by a speeding car at Kaudiyhwa turn of Gorakhnath. In this case too, the police registered a case.

According to Barhalganj representative, Jagga Sonkar (28), brother of former councilor W. Sonkar, who was standing with his bike at Patna intersection, was hit by a car on Wednesday, killing him. The car which hit Chillupar resident Jagga was taken into custody by the police. Police is taking action on the Tahrir of his wife Sangeeta.

According to GIDA representative, Rajkishore Yadav (39), a resident of Nausad Jawahar Chak, died after being hit by the car. On Wednesday morning at 5.30 Rajkishore left the house for a walk. According to Mahavir Chhapra representative, Ganesh Yadav (19), a resident of Gadwapar under Belipar police station, died in a road accident at Nausad under Gida police station.
