Times Circle, New Delhi : ‘The Narendra Modi government at the Center is determined to protect India’s borders and not a single inch of the country’s land will be handed over to anybody,’ Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Thursday.

The ‘Times Now Summit 2022’ organized by ‘Times Now’ started here on Thursday. Speaking at that time, Home Minister Shah Yane Chinala Thankavle. BJP is determined to implement this law in the country after democratic discussions and debates,’ said Shah. ‘Not only the BJP, but the parliament and the states should have implemented the Uniform Civil Code in the country at the appropriate time, this information should have been given. In a secular country, laws cannot exist on the basis of religion. If a country and a state is secular, why should there be any change in its laws based on religion,’ asking the question, ‘Parliament and State Legislature should have the same law for every citizen having legal faith,’ Shah Yane Mandle said. ‘The information about the incident got lost in the darkness of time. There is no support for the Uniform Civil Code of any single party except the BJP. Democratic open debate is essential. That’s why there should be an open and frank discussion only according to the law,’ he expressed his expectation.

The Union Home Ministry has already clarified that the Supreme Courts in BJP-ruled Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Gujarat; Also, a vacant committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of former High Court Justices, in which the views of citizens of different religions will be taken regarding the Uniform Civil Code. Regarding the committee, Shah said, ‘I will act according to the recommendation of the committee. After completing such a democratic process, we will implement the Uniform Civil Code in the country,’ expressed the determined Shah. ‘Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, both the states, as well as the Delhi Municipal Corporation or all the three places, the Bharatiya Janata Party will get great fame.’ असा थाम विश्वस्था शाह यान वेली प्रत्थ केला।
