A special thing has come out in the elections here that only women are operating 157 polling stations here. The Election Commission says that many women bring their children at the time of voting, so that they do not face any kind of problem, so all arrangements have been made.
Delhi Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said that there are 157 polling booths in the entire Himachal Pradesh, which are being operated entirely by women employees. Crèche facility has also been made available in Hamirpur district so that those coming with children do not face any problem.

He said that this time 1.93 lakh new voters have been added. There are 56,000 Disabled Voters (PWD) in Himachal. We have made a lot of arrangements for them. There are 37 polling stations which are being operated by PWD employees only.
