Samajwadi Party leader and MLA from Kairana seat of Shamli, Nahid Hasan got a big relief from the Allahabad High Court on Wednesday. The High Court has accepted the bail application of Nahid Hasan in the gangster case. Seeing the seriousness of Hasan’s illness, the court has ordered him to be released from jail on bail. This order has been given by Justice Krishna Pahal.
A gangster case was registered against him in Kairana police station last year. In many other cases, he has already got relief from the High Court and the Supreme Court, but due to the registration of a gangster case, he is in jail since the month of January.
The court was told that Hasan was suffering from cancer. His disease is on the third stage and he needs immediate better treatment. It was also argued that other accused connected with this case have already got bail. Nahid Hasan is currently lodged in Chitrakoot Jail in UP.
Nahid’s lawyer Prashant Vyas says that a total of 13 cases were registered against him. Final reports have been filed in some of these cases or bail has been granted from the lower courts to the High Court and the Supreme Court. Getting bail has almost cleared the way for Nahid to come out of jail.
