People across the country welcomed the new year at midnight on Saturday. Thirty first night parties were a sight to behold in the light-filled hotels of Varanasi.
From children to elders were seen dancing and dancing in the celebration of New Year. By making the last night of the year 2022 memorable and happy, people ushered in the new year amidst fun and frolic in the city of Shiva. In Varanasi’s Banaras Club, people danced a lot on the songs.
At the same time, in view of the crowd gathering in Varanasi city for the first day of the new year, the traffic police has done route diversion. Private buses, roadways buses coming to Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Prayagraj and Bhadohi, Ghazipur will be stopped at the city limits. At the same time, roadways buses and private buses will be able to enter the city after 5 pm.

The routes leading to Ganga Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple have been made no vehicle zones. There will also be challan and seizure of vehicles found driving drunk and parking illegally.
