Hearing in two cases of Gyanvapi campus of Varanasi is to be held in the court today. In this, in the first case, the application filed by Swami Avimukteshwaranand for worshiping the alleged Shivling found in the premises is to be heard. The second hearing is to be held on the monitoring petition filed in the archaeological survey case in the Gyanvapi complex. In both the cases, what is the order of the court till noon, all eyes are on it.
Explain that Shankaracharya was a disciple of Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati and now Swami Avimukteshwaranand and Ramsjivan, who are holding the post of Shankaracharya, have filed suit in the court through senior advocates Arun Kumar Tripathi, Ramesh Upadhyay, Chandrashekhar Seth.
It has been said that in the Shringar Gauri case, on the orders of the Civil Judge (Senior Division), the shape of Shivling found in the proceedings of the Court Commission should be duly performed by the district administration for raga bhog, worship and aarti. For this a person belonging to Sanatani religion should be appointed.
They say that legally the condition of the deity is like a living child, to whom not giving food and water etc. is a violation of the fundamental right to personal liberty under Article 21 of the Constitution. In such a situation, worship should be allowed.
