The hearing of the case filed on behalf of Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division Kumud Lata Tripathi is to be held on Friday. In this suit, permission has been sought to worship the figure of Shivling found in Gyanvapi premises and perform Ragabhog Aarti.
Tell that Shankaracharya was a disciple of Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati and now after his death, Swami Avimukteshwaranand and Ramsjeevan, who are holding the post of Shankaracharya, have filed a case in the court through senior advocates Arun Kumar Tripathi, Ramesh Upadhyay Chandrashekhar Seth. Nor appointed a person associated with any other Sanatani religion for this. He explained that the status of a deity in law is similar to that of a living child. To whom not giving food-water etc. is a violation of the fundamental right to personal liberty under Article-21 of the Constitution.
