New Delhi. Today i.e. on Thursday, December 1, in the first phase of the Gujarat Vidhansabha Elections, voting has started on 89 seats in the state. Today, 788 candidates are currently in the fray for these seats in 19 districts of the state. This time in this first phase more than two crore voters will use their vote. Significantly, out of total 89 seats in the first phase, this time BJP has maximum 58, Congress has 26 and BTP has 2, NCP has only 1 seat.

Voting starts from 8 am
Information given by the administration 25393 polling stations have been set up for the first phase of voting. Voting on these started from 8 am today. It will run till 5 pm today.
